Dr. Vida Wright, P.E. is an accomplished, hands-on, result-oriented civil/environmental engineer with over 20 years of experience managing complex engineering and environmental programs and projects for public and private sector clients. She is a visionary leader and strategic thinker with demonstrated record to identify and develop new business; manage and maintain clients; and trend and analyze market opportunities. Dr. Wright has a demonstrated record of implementing state-of-the-art technologies customized to meet clients’ requirements. She has successfully worked with multiple stakeholders and accomplishing the organization goals by promoting teamwork, creating open lines of communications and establishing trust. Dr. Wright has demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills in delivering formal and informal presentations to customers, regulatory agencies, and multiple levels of corporate management.
She holds a doctoral degree from University of California at Davis in Civil and Environmental Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in California and New Mexico. Dr. Wright is the author of numerous technical papers and reports. She is very active in several professional organizations and currently serves as the 1st Vice President and Membership Chair for Society of American Military Engineers, Sacramento Post. Dr. Wright is the recipient of numerous awards and honors and most recently was awarded SAME Regional Vice President Award recognizing her contributions to SAME Sacramento Post.
